Delta Reign Release Date, Card List and Early Prices

Sets9 min readPrices as of October 26, 2026

The Delta Reign release date is November 6, 2026, and the set is all about Mega Rayquaza ex, which is back in the Pokémon TCG for the first time in about ten years (Insider Gaming). The Japanese version of its top Mega Rayquaza ex already sells for $318.88 raw Near Mint, so if you were wondering what the English chase card might be, that's a decent hint.

Below you'll find what's been announced so far (dates, products, set size and the cards The Pokémon Company has shown), what's been cut from the Japanese version, and what the Japanese versions of the big cards cost right now. We last updated this page on Oct 26, 2026, after the full English card list was published, and we'll keep it updated until release.

Delta Reign release date and products

Delta Reign hits shelves on November 6, 2026. Prerelease events are running now, from October 24 to November 1, and the cards land in Pokémon TCG Live a day early, on November 5 (iCv2, Insider Gaming).

The product lineup is the usual one for a main set (Pokéguardian):

  • Build & Battle Box, on sale from October 24 for prerelease events. Each one comes with one of four foil promos: Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus or Kommo-o.
  • Elite Trainer Box, with nine booster packs, a full-art Kyogre promo, 65 sleeves and 40 Energy cards (GameStop listing). Retailers are listing it at $49.99 and the Pokémon Center edition at $59.99, but we haven't seen an official price from The Pokémon Company yet.
  • Booster boxes, booster bundles, and three-pack and one-pack blisters.

There are store promos too: spend $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at a participating retailer and you get a foil promo with the 30th anniversary "What's Your Favorite?" stamp: Kyogre at Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, BoxLunch and Macy's, Groudon at GameStop, and Giratina at Best Buy (PokeBeach, news). PokeBeach didn't give start or end dates for these, so check with your store.

What's in the set

The Pokémon Company's own line is that Delta Reign has "over 135 cards", with the main set numbered 001 to 103. PokeBeach published the full English card list on October 23, and it runs to 141: the 103 main-set cards plus 38 secret rares numbered 104 to 141 (PokeBeach, news). Other card lists break those 38 down into 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares, 6 Special Illustration Rares and one gold Mega Hyper Rare (Bill's Archive, PokeCottage). It's still a fan-compiled list rather than an official one, so we'll call 141 confirmed once the set is out.

The set is built from Storm Emeralda plus 30 cards from Japan's MEGA Starter Decks for Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex (PokeBeach).

Alongside Mega Rayquaza ex, the set has Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, plus six Stadium cards that pair up into three Legendary Stadiums, so two cards placed side by side make one wide piece of art (Elite Fourum). We think those Stadium pairs are going to be a fun little side quest for binder collectors.

What's been cut from the English set

A few Japanese cards didn't make it into Delta Reign, according to PokeBeach's set guide (news):

  • The full art Mega Rayquaza ex is cut. PokeBeach thinks it could turn up later in a boxed product, but The Pokémon Company hasn't said anything about that, so for now the Japanese set is the only place to get it.
  • The regular Eevee ex is cut.
  • The Kyogre Illustration Rare isn't in packs, because it's now the Elite Trainer Box promo.

The two Mega Rayquaza ex secret rares are still in, at 138/103 and 141/103, the last two cards in the set. That's a bit of a relief if you were worried the cut meant fewer Rayquaza to chase.

Cards revealed so far

The Pokémon Company's Delta Reign page shows the four Mega Evolution ex cards and the four Build & Battle Box promos. Click any card to see it full screen.

The rarest cards haven't been shown officially yet. If the Japanese release is anything to go by, the top chase card will be a gold Mega Hyper Rare Mega Rayquaza ex, with a Special Illustration Rare Mega Rayquaza ex right behind it, and those look like the two Mega Rayquaza ex cards at 138 and 141 on the English list. In Storm Emeralda, Raikou ex, Zinnia's Trust, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Golisopod ex all have Special Art Rares, and all four appear twice in the English secret rares, as does Aarune. Groudon gets an Illustration Rare (111/103), while Kyogre's is the Elite Trainer Box promo.

What the Japanese cards sell for

A lot of Delta Reign's cards came out first in the Japanese set Storm Emeralda, released July 31, 2026 (Samurai Sword Tokyo). The English set is bigger than Storm Emeralda's 76-card main set, so it has cards from beyond it as well.

English and Japanese cards trade as separate markets, so don't expect English prices to match these. They're still the best guide we've got to which cards people are chasing. These are Storm Emeralda's most valuable cards, as raw Near Mint prices in USD as of Oct 26, 2026, from trace's daily price data:

Card Number Rarity Raw NM
Mega Rayquaza ex 113/076 [RARITY: check] $318.88
Mega Rayquaza ex 110/076 Special Art Rare $204.08
Raikou ex 108/076 Special Art Rare $30.61
Mega Rayquaza ex 095/076 Super Rare $12.76
Zinnia's Trust 112/076 Special Art Rare $10.84
Mega Golurk ex 109/076 Special Art Rare $5.42
Mega Golisopod ex 107/076 Special Art Rare $4.78
Kyogre 080/076 Art Rare $4.46
Groudon 084/076 Art Rare $4.46
Talonflame ex 096/076 Super Rare $3.83

The gap at the top is huge. The two Mega Rayquaza ex chase cards (113/076 and 110/076) are worth $522.96 together, and the next card down, Raikou ex (Storm Emeralda, 108/076, Special Art Rare), is $30.61. Honestly, that's a set where one Pokémon carries almost all the value, and we'd expect the English set to look much the same. The full Storm Emeralda price list has every card.

Once Delta Reign is out, every card will be in trace with daily prices, and you'll be able to scan your pulls straight into a collection to see what you opened.

FAQ

When does Delta Reign come out?

November 6, 2026. Prerelease events run from October 24 to November 1, and the cards arrive in Pokémon TCG Live on November 5.

How many cards are in Delta Reign?

The main set is 103 cards. PokeBeach's full English list puts the whole set at 141 with secret rares, and The Pokémon Company says "over 135", so treat 141 as reported until the set is out.

Is the full art Mega Rayquaza ex in Delta Reign?

No. PokeBeach reports it was cut from the English set, though the two Mega Rayquaza ex secret rares (138 and 141) are still in.

What is the Delta Reign chase card?

The Pokémon Company hasn't shown it yet, but in the Japanese set it reprints, Storm Emeralda, the top card is a gold Mega Rayquaza ex (113/076) at $318.88 raw Near Mint, so a gold Mega Rayquaza ex is the likely English chase.

How much is the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box?

Retailers are listing it at $49.99, and the Pokémon Center edition at $59.99. We haven't seen an official price yet.
